  5. Nowa recenzja płyty: http://www.stormbringer.at/specials.php?id=244 A cold winter day in February - Nuclear Blast Invited journalists flocked. We opened up the possibility of experiencing a first listening pleasure with the new NIGHTWISH Opus "Endless Forms Most Beautiful," and even if a 70-minute chunks can be rewritten only difficult for a listening session with words, I will do my best in following lines do to prepare the inclined Symphonic Metal lovers a taste of what awaits us in late March ... 01. Shudder Before The Beautiful: No separate intro, instead, a short spoken intros in the opener, which consequently leads to oppressive verses and a lightweight but very effective orchestration slipstreams. The chorus seems almost insignificant, will be established with increasing duration but with great security as an anthem. A special highlight is the nice keyboard / guitar duel in the middle part, that reminds me concerning the sound of the Finns STRATOVARIUS. But what would NIGHTWISH without fat staged choir parts? Just another one of these awaits us towards the end and completes the opening segment perfectly. 02. Weak Fantasy: This track is designed purely musical ever significantly different, surprised especially with the acoustic oriental-inspired verses that introduce one for NIGHTWISH ratios extremely gloomy hard chorus, which was backed by atmospheric orchestral sounds. A notable example is again the center section showing Marco in top form and added great symphonic sounds staged as background. In the last chorus, there's then a brilliant interplay between floor and Marco, although it must be admitted, that will be "Weak Fantasy" one of those tracks that time will need to be fully effective. 03. Élan: The first single is surprisingly shallow, almost jazzy and therefore binds a beautiful flute sounds, for which Mr. Troy Donockley distinguished. The verses convince with a dense atmosphere that give rise to a certain "Nemo" feeling. This atmosphere is transported in the quiet velvety chorus that properly expresses the grand finale to the front and so marked a degree round. In my eyes, a bold choice for a single, which will hopefully reward the fans. 04. Yours Is An Empty Hope: NIGHTWISH show here that for which fans love. A beautifully staged orchestral intro, in which also comes up quite Score feeling. The whole thing explodes then formally suppressed with thick riffs and punchy forward. In the verses themselves Floor Jansen presents very energetic, before Marco Hietala takes over the reins in the short, crisp Bridge and may refine the gloomy very atmospheric tinged chorus. One is anything but typical NIGHTWISH chorus who knows how to shine just above all the fact that he dares something else. The intermediate part is very expansive and are mainly in the symphonic accompaniment a big impact. Once again, a piece that brings a lot of potential for development with it. 05. Our Decades In The Sun: Here comes the decorated choir intro directly goosebumps on which is persisting in the quiet ballad tinged verses. This shows Floor Jansen, why did they come on board. In addition to her very energetic voice, she has just a very emotional side that is relevant here. The chorus preserving the shallow calm atmosphere at, however, convinced all along the line. Following the song leaves his previous structure designed and consequently very progressive. There is a great interplay between Floor's vocals and various guitar parts. Consequently, the number returns to its original structure and intensifies the action with the second chorus that seems a bit more powerful. The culmination a very long outro, where piano, orchestra and various flute sounds, press the jack in the hand. 06. My Walden When the intro track is colored with Indian sounds, then opens into a dominated by bagpipes Part reminiscent of "I Want My Tears Back". The verses, however, shift the whole thing in a somewhat gloomy events, where I feel again reminiscent of "Ghost River". The chorus is dedicated to but then again the folk sound and definitely geared to the screws that have made "I Want My Tears Back" to such a big hit. The middle part designed acoustically, binds flute and violin sounds a before once more down crackles a dominant bagpipe part on the Horder and can end the song slowly. 07. Endless Forms Most Beautiful: Seemingly, meets a description wholeheartedly: "Good Old Nightwish!"The title track has a proper hardness and dominant bass by Marco Hietala, where I personally came directly "Wish I Had An Angel" in mind. The ingenious almost insignificant looking Bridge initiates an extremely catchy chorus-heavy, which will surely be celebrated on upcoming concerts as great hymn. Here is also the feeling that floor for many years part of this band, what we need to keep it definitely benefit. I have personally celebrated the groovy middle part, which is dominated by thick bass and guitar lines. Is thrown still slow onset choir and orchestra thick before a very short-acting crazy piano part highlights the next highlight. In the final chorus, there's another amazing interplay between floor and Marco, the finishing touch is the perfect number. If you played it safe, it would have been without doubt the perfect choice for a single. 08. Edema Ruh: In the lead melody here come clear parallels with "Amaranth", whereas the verses make very ballad. The chorus is very emotional, but somehow also very soothing. Especially great effect here of the intermediate part, which once more was equipped with great flute sounds, but also indulges a terrific atmosphere, which is skillfully set vocally by Marco in scene. The final chorus is very expansive therefore, every lover of symphonic music will leave with a satisfied smile. 09. Alpenglow: Probably the strangest title I have heard on the track list of NIGHTWISH album so far. My first thoughts were strangely "Apres Ski" ... Fortunately, this is musically very far from it, but instead provides a simply beautiful orchestral intro that could produce thick goose bumps with me ... Consequently, the song slowly but surely driving, leads But then in quiet verses, which are in turn replaced by an intense very powerful Bridge. The chorus turns out rather quiet and shallow, comes at the end in a reprise version out, the drift fluent in a more vigorous form of the refrain. Generally, a song that increases with every second in its intensity. We want to forget here is not the central portion, how could it be otherwise, is again decorated by flute sounds (taking general. The album often, but also contribute positively to the atmosphere) and after a fat-staged vocal part is for the best. 10. The Eyes Of Sharbat Gula: What we lack this far? Exactly! An instrumental! We got here at the end of the plate and serves the entire structure of this number is consistently a dense atmosphere, which is based on drum sounds and a harp-like instrument, which I honestly do not know appointed. Singing is here involved only in the form of a children's choir, which embodies a great highlight in conjunction with the overall atmosphere. My problem with this track is the fact that he too stretches of its length here and thereby loses substance. A short instrumental like "Arabesque" was in its simplicity able to quickly bind the handset itself, which succeeded here less well in the passage. 11. The Greatest Show On Earth: As it is, then, the greatest monster that NIGHTWISH have been let loose on us. 24 minutes is one of the thick long track and want to be naturally well filled. Exactly succeed before the great piano intro. Slow use an orchestra, a beautiful piano melody is revealed, is relocates together with the orchestra of flute sounds and can once more come up this great movie feel. The master Nightwish in perfection, what they do here once again demonstrated. Floor Jansen shines here with strong expressive opera singing and again illustrates how complex they know how to handle her voice. Then the piano melody is taken from the intro again, before Mr. Donockley may pick up the bagpipes to impose a great stamp the atmosphere. Now welcomes us again a narrative voice that brings the long but very effective intro to a conclusion and the song can go into the full. With whom the following melody does not produce goose bumps, which should preclude any musical effusion itself. Madness, what emerges here for an intense mood ... The first stanza shows up with distorted vocals by floor and the following bridge could almost pass as a chorus by their anthem character. However, the actual chorus again sets up a gear, becomes very intense and is an insanely powerful vocal performance by Floor. This I definitely want to designate as a highlight of the entire plate, big cinema! Of course, one is again setting to rich orchestral parts that are umschmückt with a lot of choral singing. The chorus now receives in a modified form collection, presented below in a reprise version, so that the next goosebumps attack can not be long in coming ... The next explosion proceeds, choir and drums generating an extremely dense atmosphere which is still very powerful , Sounds from the animal kingdom are recorded, the atmosphere is surrounded by a very somber garb. With great roar followed by the next sudden explosion and thick riffs and a domninanter bass give the number a decent degree of hardness. Marco must here once again show vocally, what he's got and delivered with the grandiose Floor Jansen the most intense vocal duel of the entire board, said that duel probably marks the second chorus of long tracks. Atmosphere receives another collection before again plays a much more aggressive part in the foreground. The second chorus presented a second time, after which follow very punchy beats. The second respectively third part (if you count the long intro) approaches its end and energetic switcht now into a ballad eskeres garment that is surrounded by shallow strings. Troy Donockley should not be missed and also takes us back here in impressive form in the art of wind instruments. Now follows a moving quote from Richard Dawkins ("Most people are never going to die: because They Are never going to be born."), Which embodies the spirit of the plate or in particular the long tracks. What follows is the most poignant orchestral part of the album, which drove me honestly during the listening session a few little tears in his eyes. This shows Tuomas Holopainen's entire experience in working with an orchestra. The quiet end leaves us exhausted after this grueling journey with calm sea noise and pleasant walk lengths back, even if the conclusion is perhaps get a bit too long. So be it, every second of those 24 minutes it was the pure listening pleasure and so ends "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" ... Well, what can I say? To me it is simply not possible to rewrite a NIGHTWISH album with short, crisp words and my report the listening session was so much longer, as planned. To me it was a need to bring our readers this extensive record in its entirety closer and I hope that's me with this track by track Special succeeded. In the end I have to say that "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" as a Best Of album is released, which integrates all the elements that are available for NIGHTWISH, but who dare even to new ideas and experiments to discover. So I would slice a very complete package call, which will require a lot of time to develop fully, but already trigger in me in just one pass extremely much knew ...

  12. http://m.denik.cz/denik/c/nightwish-prijeli-do-prahy-propagovat-nove-album-20150204-l5q1.html Wywiad z Floor w Pradze ;) EXCLUSIVE: INTERVIEW WITH FLOOR JANSEN ! Emotikon smile Nightwish came to Prague to promote new album today 12:41 Prague / PHOTOS, INTERVIEW / - The rapid and secret visit came on Tuesday, three key members of Nightwish, which is a global leader in its field. In Prague's Hard Rock Café let the journalists entire album "Endless Forms Most Beatiful" and because it is going to see the light in March, were present collected cell phones, cameras and all recording devices. The band duly guarding his treasure. And it's a treasure indeed spectacular and epic. Nightwish new album show that the metal throne rightfully belongs to them. In particular, the final "The Greatest Show On Earth" will be included in the metal treasury. Prague but you missed the view. "Because of the weather we missed the plane and flew so only for a few hours, while going to the airport and flying towards Milan," he says in an exclusive interview for Prague Daily singer Floor Jansen, whose voice sounds on the recording Nightwish first time. In how many cities you represent your album? Yesterday we were in Sweden (the interview was conducted on Tuesday - Ed. Author), we're with you in the Czech Republic, next night we fly to Milan, then three days to Germany for two to London, to Paris, Ireland and then back to Helsinki, making a total of eight countries we visit. In Prague, I will not keep a little longer? Unfortunately, no. We had to Prague arrive a day earlier, but bad weather delayed us and because we caught a plane to Prague. We had to stay on our base and you came up today and in a few hours we have to rush back on a plane to Milan. Do you like to travel? Yes, a lot. I must say that I am enjoying it at airports, I love flying, laughing crazy ochrankám. (laughs) I love exploring new cities, countries and their different cultures. Have you ever been to Prague? Yes, several times. But it's always the same as that day. Arrive, we will play a show and we fly away again. When we played here last time, so it was a little more time with friends, we went through a bit of Prague. We saw some nice places, but everything we wanted, we obviously missed, your beautiful city you can see for powder days. Praha me was impressed and very happy to come back here as soon as the opportunity. Let's go to your current recording. How did you feel before the first recording with Nightwish? Very ready, because I'm in a band longer. We started to prepare immediately after returning from a tour of my band Revamp and we worked many weeks. We had a lot of time and was full of energy. When we started recording, so I felt pretty good and it was perfectly prepared. Everything went quickly and according to plan. Did you find that you're with the band for a long time and it was so, that you came and had to close down straight into the studio? I think so. It was good that I first enjoyed the tour. (laughs) It is recording the album sometimes fun or is it just hard work? Entertainment and hard work may be different things, we can experience both. Of course it is hard work, because everything you do you have to do hard and you have to bring it up best in you. And it is important to keep deploy hours and hours. Sometimes you need to sit down and charge, but all that I enjoyed a lot. Nightwish is a huge music factory. How many people are involved in the recording? When we started in the summer in the Finnish studio to record, so there were with us one or two people. What we then recorded and listened and checked Marco and Tuomas, who then told what it is and what we could try and add. Until then mix and arrangements have been different teams of people in London or in Finland. We never but all he was a great team, he does not even important. The new album is full of freshness and energy. I was such a mood in the studio recording? Absolutely yes! Which song is your favorite? I have no favorite. For me, the album as one solid unit, I can not pick just one song that I highlighted. I think a lot of special track is the latest one on the album, The Greatest Show On Earth. Nothing like the band I had never heard before. It's fantastic. On this question I had earlier match. The song in you need a longer time to grow, to say about it, it's your life song. Are you with the band for the second year, you've done a great world tour, new've been putting great record. Fulfill your dreams? Absolutely yes. (smile) When the band approached me, if I did not help them on tour, so I did not know that I offer, I went with them permanently. This is really my dream come true. I have a new family. Work on a level with such great musicians as huge crowds of our fans, for which we go around the world is unique and is a great honor for me. When he gets a new album on sale, expect another big tour? Yes, great as always. (laughs) Do not you have confirmed all terms on it now works. Started in the United States in the North American tour in the summer and then participate in several major European festivals. First, we confirmed as yours, Masters Of Rock (held in July in Vizovice - Ed. Author). These are not our plans for this year, in 2016, it waits us much more. Are the fans in Europe and in America the others? I think so. Yes and no. Fans of this music are totally committed everywhere even in times of downloading music albums you like to buy, for them it is something absolutely normal. Their devotion and loyalty is the same worldwide. Their thinking is different. In America there are more open to different musical styles than in Europe. European fans love it no constraints. This is black metal, death metal this, this symphonic metal. In America they go on tour together bands of different styles and fans like it that at one point all mixed up. In Europe, appearing in small clubs bands that would need to be in America played on giant stages and vice versa. What can the fans at your concerts this year to enjoy? On our entire new album with all the characters that belong to Nightwish. On the album we have a song called "The Greates Show On Earth" (the greatest show on earth - ed. Author) and accurately prepare a spectacular show. (laughs) It's all great and epic evening.

  15. Nightwish to w większej mierze patos :P Choć faktycznie mała odmiana byłaby dobra ;) http://crankitup.se/blog/2015/02/02/nightwish-endless-forms-beautiful/ Two decades into their career, Nightwish's symphony curve still points upwards. If making the orchestra more gigantic is possible to be done - it is done. If pulling up the volume to twenty on choirs and guitars can be done, then that is done as well. There's more of everything, and then some. That which was once classified as opera metal has now gone through a metamorphosis and can rather be described as a musical hybrid between pop and symphony orchestra, with one or more crunching guitars. That this is probably the band's most diverse album to date, there is no doubt. There are sharp turns between calm and harmonic, epic and bombastic, heavy and sharp, and mediocre and bland. That evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkin's chanting voice gets to both begin and end the record feels like a stroke of genius. It gets sadly touching when he gets to the conclusion that we who can die are luckier than those who will never be born. In between, the quality is a constant roller coaster. Weak Fantasy is a galloping track, but which despite having an interesting melody, falls with singer Floor Jansen's too sweet and gentle voice. Likewise, the single track Élan, is more of a yawn than a cheerful wohoo. (Note: Yes, that's what is says...) But in contrast to this, Yours Is An Empty Hope offers an unexpected and awaited punch in the face. An instrumental middle part with raw attitude, guitar riffs with a hint of thrash metal, and on top of this a singer who finally offers some bite. Also the title track shows a more aggressive Nightwish, which more than happily gets my undivided attention. Endless Forms Most Beautiful is, as I mentioned earlier, probably the most nuanced material the band has released. Many parts are incredibly beautiful, and above all, performed with an amazing professionalism. However, I feel that there are too few songs that stays in my memory, for this one to reach the level of earlier masterworks. Even though Troy Donockley finally gets the space he deserves, his instrumental skills are not enough to raise this record above the usual. Highlight: Yours is an Empty Hope Low point: Élan Score: 6/10 Tego właśnie sie obawiałem. .. Elan jako numer do ziewania... Słabiutko..... :(
  16. Nie zbyt mi się to podoba,że nie jest zbyt bombastyczna i zapamiętywalna...

  24. Niektóre wrażenia z odsłuchu płyty ;) : A collection of short reviews http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/products/tontraeger/cd/buch-3cd-10-mini-lp/nightwish-endless-forms-most-beautiful-earbook-deluxe-silver.html by some of those who attended the listening session in Helsinki: Spoiler „The last song is comfortably the most spectacular thing NIGHTWISH have ever written. The album is the most metal record they have done in a decade, and Floor has no trouble cementing her place in the band.” METAL HAMMER (UK), Tom Dare, “Excellent music cocktail! That’s NIGHTWISH like you wish – heavy with a taste of the »Once« album, bombastic, but more metal, this is true NIGHTWISH, a soundtrack of themselves!” SPARK (CZ), David Havlena “The combination NIGHTWISH & Floor – its magic. For me personally it’s a dream that came true. With this new unbelievable, bombastic, dark, orchestral, the band completely fulfill my high expectations. An album that every NIGHTWISH-fan will cherish!” – AARDSCHOK (NL), Anita Boel "Clear and consequent continuation of the previously chosen path. Overwhelmingly, bombastic and inspiring. An album to listen to and experience.”– ROCK IT (D), Jürgen Will „This album sounds like the ceremony of the opposites for NIGHTWISH, it’s like their entire carrier is concentrated in one album, it’s like I have eaten too much of my favorite dish.“ – ROCK HARD (IT), Emanuele Biani “At first I was afraid that Floor would affect the band more than vice versa. I’m glad I was wrong. NIGHTWISH brought out the metal from her and turned her into a well working mix of the past, creating a bright future for the band and for the fans. I like that the band got more focus than the orchestra this time. The ending “whooo” in ‘Edema’ wasn’t necessary thou. That kinda killed the otherwise so good song.” SWEDEN ROCK (S), Janne Mattsson, “»Endless Forms Most Beautiful« characterizes the celebration and victory of this new alliance. The beauty and purity of NIGHTWISH’s music together with Floor’s majesty and power were simply meant to be. Defiantly not the last ride of their day!” METALLIAN (F), Lucinda Lacroix “An amazing surprise with new blood and on the other side beloved elements as orchestral grandness, folky storytelling catchiness and – GREAT! – more heaviness then before!” ROCK TRIBUNE (BE), Vera Matthijssens "Maybe the heaviest album from Nightwish: guitars are back high in the mix but the evolution shown on "Imaginaerum" hasn't been forgotten. Bombastic, epic and catchy, this album contains all the elements of Nightwish universe in 11 tracks. Including the most ambitious piece of the band's history: "The Greatest Show On Earth". ROCK HARD (F), Guillaume Fleury “The album sounds extraordinary, and definitely like anything Nightwish ever done before. Floor's voice fits perfectly to the mood of very expanded compositions, and what is one of the strongest virtue of the album - the lyrics really make us THINK. A great step to start a New Chapter in Nightwish's musical journey." – METAL HAMMER (PL), Paulina Magdalena Mazur „They have topped themselves yet again, even when you thought it couldn't go any better. A full on cinematic explosion of sounds that you will grow to love.” METALCIRCUS (ES), Sergi Ramos
