They came for him one winter’s night.

Arrested, he was bound.

No nie da się ukryć że teksty coverów nie mają tej głębi co liryki maestro, niemniej ten tekst, który napisał Gary Moore zły nie jest. Mimo układu wersowego i pojawijących się nawet miejscami rymach, to treściowo bardziej niz wiersz przypomina pewną historię, fabułę. A to dlatego, że podobno jest oparty na tradycyjnej irlandzkiej opowieści. Jej zakończenie daje jednak iskierką nadzieji na happy end "As sure as the rivers reach the seas, back in his arms is where she’ll be" :)
